About
I'm Ibrahim Mahmoud, a class of 2027 fullback and winger from Newburgh, Indiana. I wear #1 for LouCity Academy, and I'm comfortable on either flank, whether that's defending as a fullback or attacking as a winger.
My game is built on the overlap. I want to be the outlet when we're building, get to the endline, and put a ball into the box. Coaches usually mention my speed and agility first, along with the pace to get back and recover when we lose it. On the ball I'm confident playing accurate passes, threading through balls, and shooting when the lane opens.
Off the field I attend Signature School in Evansville. According to U.S. News & World Report, it is the number one charter school in the nation, its third time since 2022, and the number two high school in the nation for the fourth year running. I carry a 3.6 GPA there and plan to study mechanical engineering. My goal is to play college soccer while earning a degree I can build a career on.

Journey
From first touch to the recruiting class of 2027.
My first years in club soccer.
Two winters of indoor soccer at Metro. Small sided games, constant touches on the ball.
Two seasons with Tudela FC.
Joined the Chicago Fire academy setup.
No organized soccer through this stretch while covid shut down play.
Returned to Sporting Southern Indiana for four seasons, the longest stretch of my club career so far.
Made JV in 2021 and moved up to varsity by 2023.
Invite only event in Naples, Florida. My team finished runners up.
Three years in the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.
Called up to represent Indiana.
Signed with LouCity Academy and joined the Oldham Black team, wearing #1.
Currently with Oldham FC, playing the college showcase circuit at Grand Park, Gatlinburg and St. Louis.
